HENRY is a free 8 week evidence-based programme which supports families with children aged 0-5 years. The programme provides parents with the tools to give their children a great start in life and develop a healthier lifestyle for the whole family.

The programme covers physical and emotional wellbeing, looking after yourself as a parent / carer, exploring feelings and managing challenging behaviour. Nutrition with a focus on portion sizes, snack swaps, food groups and food labelling.

Parents are supported to set realistic goals based on their own family and circumstances. These goals could relate to being more active, eating more healthily, or putting routines and parenting strategies in place.

Each family who attends the programme receives a free toolkit which includes the HENRY parent handbook an easy-to-follow week by week guide to the programme, recipe and activity ideas, helpful charts, children’s story books and other fun resources to support their child with eating well.

We are currently running an online programme via Zoom which started on Thursday 12th January from 1:00 – 2:30pm.
