Getting involved

Flying Start works in partnership with Luton Council and Voluntary Works to support the recruitment of volunteers.

As part of the recruitment process, there is mandatory training for all roles, which is completed through Luton Council and Luton Adult Learning. The ICAN Communication Ambassadors, Breastfeeding Peer Supporters and Parenting Ambassadors will need to undertake further training.

All volunteers will have to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
