Tubes of Life

Supporting a Safe & Healthy Start for babies in Luton from conception and during the early months after birth  for staff working in Luton with pregnant parents and babies.

  • To highlight the way different ‘tubes’ provide oxygen to the baby and developing brain – from conception through the umbilical ‘tube’ and once born through the airway ‘tube’.

Don’t miss this opportunity to develop your knowledge base which will give you the confidence and understanding to explain not just the how, but the why. Once you have attended the training you will be able to cascade the training to your own teams and use the knowledge to have informed conversations with parents about our key messages.

This session will also be for train the trainer as each organisation should have an ‘appointed staff member’ who has accessed the Tubes of Life training and appointed by Elaine Ainsworth, course facilitator, as a Champion trainer, this person is then responsible for cascading TOL down to other staff members in their setting.

Next date:

Monday 30 September 2019 at 1.30pm for a max 2.5 hours at Tokko.

Please confirm with your manager you are able to attend and then ring 01582 548356 or email to book your place!
