Flying Start Children’s Centre buildings have closed as of 1 April 2021.

Flying Start will continue to deliver some services virtually which can be found on our timetable on this website page, which will soon be updated. These services will be online for now but we hope to get back to face-to-face in community venues for Autumn if restrictions allow.

You can book for any of the services advertised by emailing flyingstart@luton.gov.uk or ringing 01582 548356. Professionals can make an online referral here

Before we are able to start up again, community/church groups/schools may be starting up their own Stay and Play groups so it’s worth looking online for them. The Luton directory has information on wider community groups too: https://directory.luton.gov.uk/kb5/luton/directory/home.page

Some events we have been notified of starting back are:

If you have a health related concern for your child then please contact the Luton Health Visiting Service https://www.cambscommunityservices.nhs.uk/luton/childrens or ring the Help Line 0300 555 0606  They can also be contacted through Parentline – a confidential advice and support text messaging service for Luton parents and carers of children aged 0-19 years –  07507 331886

If you are concerned about the welfare of a child (0 to 18 years old) please call the MASH on 01582 547653.  For out of normal working hours emergencies please call 0300 300 8123
