Flying Start Luton
Please meet two local breastfeeding champions , Molly and Janice.“My name is Molly Adams-Rimmer, I am a Family Worker at Flitwick and District Children's Centre. I enjoy delivering the breastfeeding support group as it allows me to use my eight years of breastfeeding training to support parents in a welcoming, non judgemental environment. The group is highly beneficial in providing practical feeding support, reassurance, and peer connection, helping families feel more confident, less isolated, and supported in their feeding journey.”“My Name is Janice Foley. I have been promoting and delivering Breast Feeding Support Group for several years now. I always ensure that I keep up to date with any refresher training offered to make sure I have the appropriate knowledge to share with families. I like to feel I make a difference with new Breast-Feeding mums to overcome any issues they may have. Its lovely to hear back from them the following week to say things have been so much easier and feeding has improved. We are very grateful to have the Breast-Feeding Buddies who also attend this group and are very supportive. I share the timetable of all centres days & times so Mums know that they can access somewhere for support every day of the week. It’s so important that they feel they are not alone. “#WorldBreastfeedingWeek ... See MoreSee Less
