ParentChat
ParentChat is an opportunity for parents of children under 5 years to meet informally with one of our Flying Start staff based in various community sessions once a month (please see list below).
- Monthly on Mondays at Stopsley Primary 09.15 am – 10.30 am
- Monthly on Tuesdays at Rhyme Time, Central Library 10 am – 10.30 am
- Monthly on Tuesdays at Lewsey Library 2.15 pm – 3.00 pm
- Monthly on Wednesdays at Tot Stop, Luton Christian Fellowship – 10 am – 11.30 am
- Monthly on Thursday at Rhyme Time, Marsh Farm Library 10.00 am – 10.30 am
- Monthly on Thursday at Rhyme Time, Stopsley Library 2.00 pm – 2.30 pm
In addition, once a week, Flying Start Staff are at the Midwifery Community Hub venues at Chaul End, Marsh Farm and Farley.

If you have any questions or concerns about parenting or family life and would like to find out more about what support there is for families in Luton, please pop along. Our friendly Flying Start staff will be able to let you know about Flying Start sessions you may enjoy and help answer any questions you have about parenting topics including understanding your child's behaviour, routines, sleep, toileting and healthy eating.
Staff are always on hand to help at our other Flying Start sessions such as Play and Learn or Early Days baby group, so please use these opportunities to speak to someone if you would like any support.
